What is chiropractic care?
Chiropractors are "nervous system" specialists. They know that the health of the nervous system is vitally important ot the health of the whole body. The delicate spinal cord is protected by bones in your spine called vertebrae, which can misalign and choke vital nerve transmissions going to and from the brain. This process of a misaligned vertebra pinching and irritating nerves is called a vertebral subluxation--the condition that a chiropractor is trained to find and correct.
Pain is a primary symptom which often signals that the spine is out of position. Correcting the misalignment elminates the pain and frees the nerve impingement.
Chiropractic care is the only proven effective solution to problems of vertebral subluxation.

Patients are evaluted with examinations and x-rays to determine the health and efficiency of their nervous system. If they have spinal misalignments (vertebral subluxations), appropriate treatment will be applied to correct the condition.
Does it hurt?
Fortunately, chiropractic care is not a painful process. In fact, most people look forward to their adjustments and the body's inevitable return to health. Our youngest patient was 2 days old, and our oldest was 94 years young!
How do I know if I need a chiropractor vs. another doctor?
You may not know which kind of doctor you need the most. Sometimes, similar conditions are treated by both. With our free initial consultation, and knowing that we will always refer you if necessary, you can feel comfortable that you are in the right office.
How long will it take to get better?
Every case is different. The good news is that you can come when you want. Some people prefer to have regular visits, and others come occassionally, as they please. The doctor will recommend what he thinks you need, but you decide what you want!
How much does it cost?
No two people are the same, so each case may vary. Our initial consultation is free, and if the doctor accepts your case, he will outline in advance any anticipated cost. You may be examined in detail and x-rayed if necessary in the course for your evaluation, but only with your prior approval. Adjustments are only $38.00. Does insurance cover chiropractic care?
Most insurance plans do cover chiropractic care. We will be happy to check on your coverage and will gladly handle the paperwork related to filing your insurance claim.
Do you offer acupuncture?
YES we offer acupuncture as well. Many conditions respond well to this therapy. Tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, shoulder and knee pain are common conditions treated every day at our office.
